A Colorful Festival full of Dances and Smiles
Binatbatan Festival is commonly celebrated during the 3rd of May or what we call “Tres de Mayo”. We celebrate Binatbatan Festival or Tres de Mayo to honor and thank Apo Lakay of Simbaan a Bassit for saving Vigan from a deadly pandemic in 1756. This festival also has a vast array of activities ranging from Food & Trade fair to Street dances for people and tourist to enjoy and have a memorable experience. But the one thing that shines the most in this festival is the Street Dancing.
All in all, Binatbatan Festival is a festival to commemorate and thank Apo Lakay for saving Vigan City and also to celebrate and have fun in the activities waiting on that festival. But let us not forget that there is still a pandemic happening so always wear your masks and have fun at the festival!
