Philippines is Not a Toy

            Dear Mr. President Rodrigo Duterte, I am displeased to tell you that our country is not a toy. There are people who are living their lives and all they expect is a corrupt government leading them. All your wrong doings affect how the Filipinos live. Well, I still thank you for the “good” things you have brought under your administration, but that does not balance for all the bad things you have done to disappoint us Filipinos.

          

According to Foreign Policy Research Institute hundreds of Chinese fishing boats gathered at several South China Sea islets, most of which at Whitsun Reef that is within the Philippines' exclusive economic zone. You are building a relationship with China, a country who is stealing a territory  in the West Philippine Sea, just to get on their good side. 

According to Rappler, President Rodrigo Duterte will not fire Sec.Duque even if this would ultimately drag him down. You are protecting corrupt official like Sec. Duque, event though the majority of the Filipinos wants him to step down . 

   According to The Diplomat, Whilst the neighbouring country of China took the early initiative on travel restrictions and emergency measures. The Philippines was late in issuing a travel ban to China specifically on January 31, a day after the first case of COVID-19 was confirmed in the Philippines. You are also the cause why the pandemic started here in the Philippines. You did not issue a border lockdown on mainland China just to not ruin your friendship with one another.

           

     In conclusion,  President Duterte has displeased me, displeased a vast majority of Filipinos because of his bad leadership. Though you have done somethings good, It does not change the fact that you were treating the Philippines like a toy.
