Care for the Young, They Hold the Key to a Brighter Future
As we witness how devastating the COVID-19 pandemic be, children have been forcefully stuck in their homes as to protect themselves from the harm of the virus. Sometimes they get bored and request that they need to go out and play. The parents hold the responsibility in keeping their child safe from any harm so they need to be extra careful at all times.
The children nowadays are now getting bored as they don’t have the capabilities to go out without the risk of getting the virus. While the vaccination for kids have begun, it’s only a matter of time before the world will return to normal. While waiting for it to become normal, children need to stay at home to prevent getting COVID-19. The World Health Organization (2020) said that children are at risk of getting COVID-19 as the virus can be transmissible to cough, sneeze, talk or breathe of a person.
One of the hotspots for this virus is the homes of the children. Why you may ask? It’s because of the people of the family household who are going out like the parents, relatives, and grandparents. They can transmit the virus to the child if they have one. So it’s better to exercise caution by staying 6ft away from each other and every time the parents go out, they need to wear masks and also follow health protocols for them to protect themselves and their children.
In summary, the world has changed and children have lost the capabilities to go out without the risk of getting the COVID-19 virus. Even if they are not going out, we still need to practice caution by staying 6 ft away and following the health protocols whenever the parents or other relatives go out.

Hello JC! I really like the message of this article, it is very eye-opening to everyone. As we are experiencing the effects of this pandemic, we don't get the opportunity to still go outside and play like the old times. It is for our safety that we are just isolating at our homes. Anyway, the blog is very engaging to read and very informative!!
ReplyDeleteGood day, Jc. I enjoyed your post and agreed that children should not play outside. However, I am confident that once the world returns to normal, the children will have fun with their friends.
